What is the time bank, and where do I see my balance?
The time bank is your personal balance of accrued hours. You'll find it on the "Hours" tab under "My hours" — the green "Accrued hours" line at the top shows how many hours you have available.
How do I build up hours in the time bank?
Scroll down to the check-in history and open the day you worked extra. In the day overview you'll find "Time worked in" with an "Add" link — tap it and select the number of hours. The hours are added to the time bank automatically and appear as "Time worked in" on that day.
How many hours can I add at a time?
You choose from the list (e.g. 0h 30m, 1h 0m, 1h 30m …). Once you've added them, you'll see that "Regular hours" and "Time worked in" are shown separately for that day.
How do I take hours as time off in lieu?
Go to the "Absence" tab and tap "New absence". Then:
- Choose the length: "One day or less" (for a few hours) or "Multiple days".
- Choose the date (and the time of day on the same screen).
- Select the number of hours in the picker and tap "Save".
- Choose "Time off in lieu" as the absence type — it's listed under "Other".
- Check the summary (date, hours, absence type) and tap "Register absence".
Can I take just a few hours instead of a whole day?
Yes — choose "One day or less" and enter the number of hours.
When are the hours deducted from the time bank?
As soon as the absence is registered. Go back to "Hours" to see your updated balance.
What should I write in the comment field?
Non-sensitive information only.
Where do I see how much time off in lieu I've used?
The "Absence" tab has a yearly overview by type.
