**I can't see the alert- menu**

You need to be checked in for the menu to appear

**What's the difference between a UAR and a deviation?**

A UAR (Undesired Event Report) is typically for near-misses, observed risks, or hazardous conditions — often before anything has actually happened. A deviation is used when something concrete has deviated from a standard, plan, or specification (QA deviations, safety breaches, work performed incorrectly). In practice this varies between companies — check with your HSE officer if you're unsure, or submit it under whichever name fits best; HSE will reclassify it if needed.

**Can I submit an alert anonymously?**

That depends on your company's setup. Some companies have an "anonymous" option for certain alert types. If you don't see it, it isn't enabled for you — talk to your HSE officer if this should be available.

**What happens if I don't have internet access when I submit?**

The app saves the alert locally and syncs it as soon as you're back online. Photos sync the same way. You'll see "waiting to sync" on the alert until it's been uploaded.

**I've submitted the same issue as a colleague — is that a problem?**

It's not critical. Whoever processes the alert can merge duplicates or close one as a "duplicate." It's better to report it twice than not at all.

**How long does it take before an alert is processed?**

It depends on the severity and who's responsible. Urgent risks should be followed up immediately.

**Can I edit or delete an alert I've submitted?**

You can add comments and photos. The content itself (title, description) is normally not changed afterward — that's handled by the person responsible. If you need to correct a mistake, add it as a comment.
