You need:
- An iPhone (iOS 15 or later) or Android phone (Android 9 or later)
- The phone number registered to your Ditio user account
- Access to SMS on the same phone (for the login code)
Downloading on IPhone (App Store)
Step 1: Open the App Store on your phone or tablet: App Store - Ditio

Step 2: Tap the search icon, and type "Ditio"
Step 3: Select the app called Ditio (publisher: Ditio AS) and tap Get. Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password
Step 4: When the download is complete, tap "Open" — or find the Ditio icon on the home screen
Downloading on Android (Play Store)
Step 1: Open the Play Store on your phone or tablet: Playbutikk - Ditio

Step 2: Tap the search field at the top and type "Ditio"
Step 3: Select the Ditio app (publisher: Ditio AS) and tap "Install"
Step 4: When the installation is complete, tap "Open"
Log in for the first time
Step 1: Open the Ditio app.
Step 2: Enter the phone number registered to your Ditio user account, and tap "Continue".
Step 3: You will receive an SMS with a one-time code. Enter the code into the app
(Tip! Tap "forgot password" — this lets you create your own password)
Step 4: Allow notifications and location when the app asks for them. Location is required for automatic check-in on the correct project.
Tip: If you don't receive the SMS code, check that the phone number matches the one registered on your Ditio user account. Contact a super user at your company or Ditio Support if the number needs to be changed. Remember to use the correct country code.

I can't find the app in the store — what do I do?
Check that your phone is running iOS 15 or later (iPhone) / Android 9 or later. Older phones won't be able to see the app in the store. If you have a compatible phone but still can't find the app, try searching for "Ditio AS" instead.
I'm not receiving the SMS code
Wait one minute and try again with "Resend code". Check that your phone has coverage and that you've entered the correct number. If the number is registered incorrectly, a super user or administrator at your company needs to update it on your Ditio user account. Remember to use the correct country code.
Do I need to give the app access to location?
Yes, if you want to check in and out automatically when you arrive at and leave the site. You can also check in manually in the app, but automatic check-in requires location access.
Can I use Ditio without downloading the app?
Yes — ditio.app works in a browser on your PC and is where you do most administrative tasks. But for check-ins, checklists, and alerts on site, the app is the easiest way.
Do I need to update the app?
Your phone normally updates apps automatically. If you experience errors or are missing features that others have, go to the App Store / Play Store and check whether an update is available.
